Should these men have been out on the street breaking the law?  No.

Should Joe Horn have gone out on his lawn and shot them in the back?  No.

What Joe Horn did was murder.  Regardless of who these men were, or what they represented in the collective minds of many, they did not deserve to be shot in the back with a shotgun.  They deserved a trial, a conviction and deportation, or a long stint as someone’s bitch in cell block eight.

As an American living in Japan, I cannot believe that the majority of people in the U.S. think that what Joe Horn did was acceptable.  This is vigilante justice at its worst.
